Where were you before you started at U Fit Studio?

I had never regularly used a gym before Ufit. My preferred exercise was tennis, cycling and some running. I didn't think that gyms were for me and did not enjoy their environment.

What was your turning point that you decided to take action?

When I turned 50 I noticed a change in my body. Up until that point I had been able to maintain an acceptable weight and shape relatively easily, but this had definitely changed. I was unhappy with the way I looked and didn't want to accept 'middle aged spread'. I was ready for a change in the way I exercised but knew I couldn't do it alone.

What happened when you joined U Fit Studio? What surprised you?

I was surprised how quickly I could get results once I understood how I could improve my nutrition and commit to regular gym time. I feel that Sam is with me every step of the way and I know that I am not alone in feeling this way. Talking to other members, joining Ufit has been life changing for many of us. Ufit truly is a 'family' - there is kindness, consideration and genuine empathy between the team and members.

What are some of the biggest changes you've noticed during your membership?

I have been a member since 2016 and in that time Sam and the team have continually introduced new initiatives, equipment and methods of supporting their members. This strive for constant improvement inspires me to try to be the best I can be.

How do you feel now?

I feel the fittest I have ever been and am amazed, and very grateful to Ufit, that I could achieve this at my age.
