Food prep as a couple

It is time for another U Fit Blog from Coach Helen Gribble! We hope you enjoy it and, as always, comment below with any questions or insights!

Every Sunday I would take over the kitchen, pots and pans everywhere…..the kitchen became my territory. My food would always be done for the week, and I was always on top of my food.

I was super disciplined and focus on my goal, and nothing else. I had been so focused on looking after food for me that I hadn't paused to see how I could help the person that I lived with.

I realised that they needed help and that I was in the best position to help, and hadn't. The next Sunday rolled around, and it was a different day. The night before we planned everything together, agreed what we would need to get ready together in the morning.

Bright and early we were I the kitchen together, chopping, baking, working together to get it all done.

The feeling afterwards was great, not only did it take half the time, but it was also great to know that we worked together to support each other towards our goals. ☺
