Saturday 10th February 2018….Kickstart meeting day!!

Even though the timescale had been quick from registering to Kickstart Meeting I was desperate to get going. I am that impatient person, that once I have made a decision, I want it now!

I woke with so many thoughts and feelings. I was excited, scared, apprehensive, already thinking what if I fail (cup half empty not half full mentality). I didn't like the "not knowing" what to expect, I didn't like feeling out of my comfort zone, I didn't enjoy meeting new people as I am at heart a very shy person.

I arrived at the Studio to find lots of like-minded people also starting the challenge, there was an excited and nervous air. We were seated in the gym and the coaches went through the challenge details with us. We were all provided with a tailored plan, which explained how many portions we were to eat together with a daily diary where we would write down all the food we consumed and tick off our water consumption, exercise, steps and mindset.

The food diary is a MUST, it really makes you think about what you are putting in your mouth, it makes me question if I really am hungry or am, I eating for another reason?
