Throughout the year, Danielle will share her amazing story of transformation as she explains how she went from a size 14 to a size 6, changed her mindset, training and nutrition, and lost over 2 stone in weight.
Getting creative in the kitchen
When I first started my journey with U Fit Studio I pretty much stuck to the same set of meals and was fairly underconfident in the kitchen, and if I did try anything new I would always follow fairly basic recipes to the letter! As time went on however, I became bored of these meals and my coach encouraged me to get a bit more creative as boredom would lead me to feel I was on 'a diet' which this never was, it was a lifestyle. So I spent time getting inspiration from instagram accounts, food bloggers, magazines, cookbooks and slowly built up my confidence and repertoire of go to meals. I now have the confidence to create my own recipes, sometimes they don't turn out great, but most of the time they are delicious, interesting meals, full of goodness and they make me feel great! I have discovered a real passion for cooking and creating delicious healthy foods. I have even started my own food blog where I share some of these recipes @mybalancedkitchen – I now love cooking so much that given the choice of a fresh healthy meal made from scratch at home, or take away full of unknown nasties I would prefer to have the home cooked healthy meal any day 😊
