When it comes to success with health and fitness there's one word that stands out:


If we take the word consistency and think of other words that relate to it we get; steadiness, regularity, unity, lack of change, lack of deviation, it is consistent behaviour.

Applying consistency to your health and fitness goal is a steady movement towards what we desire. It doesn't need to be an ever-improving drive, it is one step at a time, always moving forward.

Consistency is regularly making the trip to train or planning food, making it part of your day and week.

Consistency is working in unity with your coach and your peers, working as a team to achieve goals.

Consistency is dealing with what life throws into the mix, dealing with change as it happens.

It's also about taking those changes onboard and still moving forwards, retaining regularity and not deviating from the chosen path.

Finally, it's about maintaining the behaviours that keep focus and builds towards the goal that you desire.


It's one word and yet means so much, and has so much power.
