When new clients join U Fit, they are often shocked to learn that I was once very unhealthy when it came to food and exercise. Their perception of me is of someone who has always been 'in shape' and on top of my food all the time.
The reality is that all the coaches at U Fit are 'real' people with challenges, like everyone, when it comes to health and fitness. The difference is that we have learnt about our eating habits, and how to improve them. We have learnt how to be proactive, rather than reactive to challenges and how to respond when things do not go according to plan quickly.
Our passion is passing our knowledge to others, supporting them to learn how to be consistent with both their food and training.
We want to support others to understand better not just what they eat, but also what changes we can make together to improve overall health.
We strive to support the development of skills that allow all of our clients to respond quickly to life's bumps in the road, to adapt and react promptly to curve balls.
Whatever stage you are at on your journey of fitness and health, the challenges are the same for all people. I'm always happy to share how I arrived at the position that I am today, as much as I am glad to share the challenges that I have to maintain that position.
